Three Challengers to Face Craddick for Texas Speaker Seat

Today's Austin American Statesman stated that a third Texas representative will challenge Tom Craddick for his current position as Speaker of the House. Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, Jim Pitts, R-Waxahachie, made his announcement on Thursday and joins Senfronia Thompson, D-Houston, and Brian McCall, R-Plano, in their quest to be the next Texas Speaker of the House.
