House Ways and Means Chair calls for bipartisan effort to fix the margin tax

Chairman Rene Oliveira (D-Brownsville), who authored the only major change made to the margin tax during the 2009 legislative session, says more changes are needed, adding, “There are several areas of the tax code that really need to be looked at to see if we can fix some of the inequities."
